Introducing, Shianne Michelle Wilfred. Born in St. Croix but raised right here in the peaceful community of Ti-Rocher, Micoud. She is the eldest of her mother’s daughters and by being responsible, respectful and independent, she sets the example for her younger sister.
As of September 2019, Miss Wilfred attends the A-Level Department of the Vieux Fort Comprehensive Secondary School, where she studies Geography, Physics and Biology. She intends on pursuing her career goals as a Pilot, Volcanologist or Meteorologist.
She isn’t the athletic type, however, she takes her physical health very seriously. She ensure that she completes her daily morning run in her community and she encourages everyone to do the same.
Early on in her life, she had a passion for being on stage. Her courage lead to her participation in Independence and Creole Pageants in her schools and community. Miss Wilfred also has a passion for nature, singing, drawing, designing and dance. She is currently a member of The True Saints Dance Ministry at her church, as well as a member of the St. Lucy Steel Pan Orchestra, where she plays the Tenor.
Shianne is of the belief that, “In order to live a happy life, we should all follow our passions, instead of being consumed by society’s expectations.”
Miss Wilfred is eager in making her country a better place and would love to restore our culture by “bringing back the good old days.”
